IDAT has modules to help your staff plan the factory production and transport to site.
IDAT is more than just a CAD program. With the Transport and Palletization modules installed IDAT can be used for the production and transport planning for your precast business. Both of these programs can run independently of the CAD / Database system of IDAT and they are designed to be used by someone with little or no CAD experience.
First - the Transport Module. It uses the machine files generated by the CAD system, and then opens an interface showing a 3D view of the precast elements on the chosen level. The user then allocates each element to a truck - in the order you need the precast elements to arrive on site - and the system makes sure each truck is not overloaded. After each element has been assigned to a truck you can then move on to the Palletizer.
When the palletizer program is installed, Reid will set it up so the table sizes macth your factory. Like the Transport module, the Palletizer has a graphical interface which allows the user to simply drag and drop panels from the nominated trucks onto the tables. Once all the panels have been allocated to a table, you can then print out production schedules and transport plans.
It's so easy anyone could do it.
