 1. What are the minimum computer system requirements for IDAT? A Windows based computer with an Autodesk approved graphics card and MS Office 2003 or later, including MS Access.
 2. Is there a limit to how many panels, columns etc. can be in one job? No, you can have as many precast elements and storeys as you need.  You can also create multiple buildings on the one site within the same drawing.
 3. Can the IDAT system be linked to an accounting / job tracking system?

Yes. IDAT has developed different interfaces to external software based on XML files, ASCII files and text files as well as data transfer to MS Excel or directly to database programs such as MS Access, SQL or Oracle.

 4. Is every IDAT system the same or is it set up to suit each particular company? Each install is configured to suit the company that buys the software. Things like title blocks, standard components, standard connection details, drawing layout etc. can be customised to your requirements.
 5. How long will it take before a CAD operator is able to use IDAT efficiently?

If your company was to invest in - for example - the Solid Wall and GCP modules, we would expect that a competent CAD operator would have the confidence to use the system on live jobs and be productive within a week.

 6. How will you deliver after sales support? Our IDAT hotline (1300 PRECAST) is available during business hours.* Regular software updates will automatically be delivered to all customers as they become available.
